The BEST vigilance squad conducted a massive raid at Garib Nawaz Nagar, S M Road in Antop Hill near CGS Colony, on Wednesday and registered 68 cases of power thefts.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
