NEP: State could offer internships to UG students

The state government plans to open its departments to undergraduate students for internships under the New Education Policy (NEP). The higher and technical education department is in talks with other departments to understand the opportunities for undergraduate students. The department plans to take the proposal to the cabinet and issue guidelines. They also plan to make use of the internship portal of the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). House arrest curtails liberty, must be part of custody period: HC

The Bombay High Court released alleged hawala operator Mohammed Farooq Shaikh on bail, stating that house arrest curtails a person's liberty.
