Conmen raise funds online in D Roopa’s name

Senior IPS officer D Roopa on Saturday filed a complaint with city cybercrime police stating miscreants have been collecting money by creating a fake Instagram account in her name. Roopa, the deputy general of inspector-home guards, stated in her complaint that unknown people have created d_roopa_ips account with a message ‘Kindly help by donating to help girls from economically weaker sections’.
