Working on local test kits, says ICMR

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), which has been at the forefront fighting the Covid-19 outbreak in the country, is also making strides in research and development of local testing kits and other therapeutics to tackle the novel coronavirus.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
