700 doctors join BMC’s Covid-19 war efforts

Responding to the BMC's call to help manage its Covid centres, more than 700 medical practitioners, including Ayurvedic doctors, have come forward to join the civic body on a contractual basis since April.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
