New peak: Delhi +vity rate mounts to 29.21%

Delhi reported 28,867 new cases of Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, registering its highest single-day cases since the beginning of the pandemic, as per the Delhi government on Thursday.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
