Triple-digit rainfall in 12 hours amid high tide floods Mumbai; road and air traffic hit

Mumbai witnessed 152mm rainfall and a 4.44m high tide, leading to waterlogging, airport disruptions, and an IMD orange alert. Significant rain in Santacruz and Colaba affected the city, raising Mithi river levels, flooding roads, and causing a landslide in Golibar. BEST buses were diverted and disaster management attended to 19 tree collapses and 8 wall collapses.
