HC frowns upon ‘police excesses’ at Sabarimala

The court approved the state’s security measures to implement the SC’s verdict allowing all women entry to the shrine, and termed premature a plea by four women for police protection. ​​​The court also frowned upon police excesses at the shrine, especially damaging of motorcycles, and asked government about action taken against the policemen concerned.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order
