Delhi crosses 85k-mark with over 2k fresh cases

Delhi’s Covid count crossed the 85,000 mark with 2,084 more people testing positive for the infection on Monday. The death toll touched 2,680, authorities claimed.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
