Hospitals say though 18-59 years is a large cohort and opening up of the booster dose for this segment was seen as a major positive decision, the demand has been subdued. ​​​"It could be a sum of both complacency and ignorance. Since a majority have been double-vaccinated and with fewer Covid cases, many in this age group are complacent to take time out and go to a vaccination centre.
