Delhi sees 137 Covid cases, +vity rate 2.70%

​​​​With the positivity rate jumping from 0.5 per cent on April 4 to 2.70 on Monday, Delhi health minister Satyendar Jain said the city government is keeping a watchful eye on the Covid-19 situation and there is no reason to worry until a new variant of concern is detected.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
