CISF constable kills self at Delhi metro stn

A 22-year-old constable of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) died allegedly after he shot himself from his service rifle inside the washroom of Welcome Metro Station here, police said on Friday.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
