Shoppers struggling to reach the congested Central Market in Lajpat Nagar will soon get relief as South Delhi Municipal Corporation has finalised a plan to decongest a 6.5km stretch.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
