Del: Farm fires, wind direction to hit air quality

Delhi’s air plunged to the ‘severe’ level for the first time this season at 9pm on Monday having gradually risen through the day because the low wind speed failed to disperse the emissions from Diwali fireworks. But stubble burning also contributed, according to SAFAR, around 15% to the capital’s PM2.5 concentration on the day.
