Drivers fined for caste stickers in Noida

‘Dabangg’ is fine for Bollywood but not your car or bike. Neither are stickers that announce your caste to the world. This is the message Noida police sent out to motorists in the city ahead of Diwali by penalising more than 250 drivers whose vehicles sported such stickers.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
