Fbd: Man who lost son in accident fills potholes

Frustrated with the state machinery’s failure to fix potholes on Faridabad roads, Manoj Wadhwa, a telecom engineer, and a few friends took to filling up some potholes themselves on Sunday. Wadhwa knows better than others what irreparable loss and pain a crater on the road can cause since he lost his three-year-old son in a pothole-related road accident on the Delhi-Agra highway six years ago.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
