Karachi Bakery row: All nine walk out on bail

Nine men, who were arrested for allegedly threatening the owner of Karachi Bakery in Indiranagar for having named the outlet after the Pakistani capital, were released on bail on Sunday, said police.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
