Covid: Gurugram sees year’s sharpest 1-day spike

The city on Sunday witnessed the highest single-day spike of the year with more than 324 new Covid cases. This is close to what Gurugram recorded in an entire week when this month began, ie. 342 cases.​

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
