Maha receives 27L vax doses for 45-plus drive

The state received a supply of nearly 27 lakh doses of the Covid-19 vaccine on Wednesday as it prepared to kickstart immunisation of all above 45 years from Thursday.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
