Delhi: Covid cases dip due to fewer tests on Holi

There were 992 new Covid-19 cases recorded on Tuesday. The low numbers were on account of fewer tests conducted on Holi, officials said, adding that the situation was still serious.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
