10% quota for ex-Agniveers in BSF now, age norms eased

The home ministry on Thursday introduced 10% reservation for ex-Agniveers in vacancies within the Border Security Force (BSF), apart from notifying relaxation in their upper age-limit depending on whether they are part of the first batch or subsequent batches.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
