Rudraprayag, Tehri top list of landslide-prone 147 dists: Isro

Two hill districts - Rudraprayag and Tehri - have the "maximum exposure to landslide risk in the country", as per 'Landslide Atlas' report of Isro's NRSC.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
