Deonar waste-energy plant to be ready by Oct 2025: BMC

Amidst criticism for delays in its Deonar waste-to-energy plant project, BMC has pledged to have it operational by October 2025. The plant, designed to handle 600 tons per day, aims to generate 4 MW of power daily. The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) had chastised BMC for project delays. Recently, the state government approved modifications to the reservation of the Deonar dumpyard plot, facilitating the establishment of the plant.

Maha: SSC success rate dips to 4-year low

Appearing for exams based on complete syllabus for the first time since Covid struck, state board students recorded a 93% success rate in the SSC Class 10 results announced Friday.
