Doctor found dead at Lajpat Nagar home

A 30-year-old junior resident doctor of Safdarjung Hospital was found dead in his room in south Delhi's Lajpat Nagar on Tuesday morning.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
