Western Railway may run semi-AC rake by Dec

The railway board has again initiated steps to run semi-AC rakes on the suburban network though there are challenges due to complex coach configuration of rakes.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
