Delhi needs to cut pollution by 65%: CSE analysis

Ahead of expected high pollution days during Diwali festivities, the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) said on Friday that there was a need for more broad-based and stronger action at the regional level to prevent winter pollution from worsening. The results of its ongoing analysis of air quality trends in Delhi also point to the capital requiring a 65% drop in pollution level to meet air quality standards.
