Teen killed in brawl over harassment of cousin

A 19-year-old youth, who had gone to meet his uncle after clearing his first year exams at Delhi University, was stabbed to death in Keshopur on Sunday night. He had tried to intervene in a brawl over misbehavior with his cousin.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
