Delhi: Lower fares, more flights next summer

Delhiites will have a much larger choice of flights next summer. That will also mean significantly low airfares. The capital will see 1,515 daily flights in the coming summer — up from 1,400 in the ongoing season, Delhi International Airport Pvt Ltd (DIAL) CEO Videh Kumar Jaipuriar told TOI.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
