Delhi: Mercury may touch 10 degree C on Dec 1

At 270, Delhi’s air quality index was in the poor category for the third consecutive day on Tuesday and is expected to remain the same for the next two days. On Monday, the AQI was 252, worse than Sunday’s 234.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
