Kandivli man dies in Mum-Pune e-way crash

A 45-year-old Kandivli resident died on the spot and six of his family members were injured when their multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) hit a barricade on Mumbai-Pune Expressway and overturned after toppling thrice near Ozarde village, around 40km from Pune, on Friday morning.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
