Borivli civic market to be redeveloped into multi-storeyed green building

The BMC plans to redevelop the Borivli Municipal Market into a ground-plus-19-storeyed building. The market will be developed as a green building and will include a parking lot. The redevelopment plan aims to accommodate current licensees, provide commercial space, and include a shelter for the homeless. The BMC will work out a revenue model for leasing out the commercial spaces.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order
