CM Eknath Shinde to attend World Economic Forum

Chief minister Eknath Shinde, industries minister Uday Samant and a 10-member delegation will be attending the World Economic Forum at Davos slated for January 15-19. Shinde held a review meeting on Wednesday to take stock of the preparations for the summit. Officials said that in the last Davos meet, MoUs worth Rs 1.37 lakh crore had been signed. Of these, 76% were in various stages of implementation, officials said. He said he was confident that Maharashtra would get effective branding at the summit.
