Giant fog lifting, Delhi sees sun & cold day in parts

New Delhi woke up to a cold Wednesday with better air quality. The average minimum temperature was 7.1 degrees Celsius, and the air quality index improved from "very poor" to "poor". Strong winds dissolved the upper layer of fog, improving visibility. The maximum temperature was 15.2 degrees Celsius, and the weather department predicts a temperature rise from Thursday onwards. The air quality is likely to remain "poor" on Thursday.
