Fake policeman, armed men stop car, flee with Rs 50 lakh

The Delhi Police's Crime Branch has cracked a case involving a fake traffic cop and his associates who robbed the chief accountant of a pan masala firm of Rs 50 lakh. The investigation revealed that a government schoolteacher from north Delhi was the mastermind behind the racket. The target firm's driver, who had accompanied the accountant, was also involved in the crime. The robbers had planned to commit a high-profile kidnapping and needed money to fund their activities. Police have recovered several items, including the fake traffic cop's uniform and stolen motorcycles, during the arrests.
