Health dept to set up ward-wise war rooms to tackle monsoon maladies

To control outbreak of monsoon diseases, the civic health department is taking a leaf out of its Covid management experience and revitalising the ward-wise war rooms to coordinate with patients and hospitals.

SC raps MP govt over detention of doc under NSA, nixes order

Holding it mandatory for a government authority to expeditiously deal with and communicate its decision on a representation made by a person against preventive detention, the Supreme Court on Friday invalidated an order passed by Madhya Pradesh government against a doctor after noting that no decision was taken on his representation for two months.
