Service charge rule: Delhi HC slaps Rs 2L fine on two restaurant associations

Delhi High Court has slapped a cost of Rs 2 lakh on two restaurant associations over failure to disclose the complete list of their members who levy service charge as a mandatory condition and those doing it voluntarily. One of the associations - FHRAI - deposited the Rs 1 lakh fine with the department of consumer affairs on Thursday.
