'No proper sanction': SC stalls work on Versova beach wall

Stating that "just because tetrapods have been put at other places...does not mean it should also be done at Versova beach", the SC ordered status quo on a beach wall construction there. The bench came down heavily on state PWD, saying it cannot destroy a beach like this.

Maha: SSC success rate dips to 4-year low

Appearing for exams based on complete syllabus for the first time since Covid struck, state board students recorded a 93% success rate in the SSC Class 10 results announced Friday.
