On-duty cop hit by drunk driver, could lose hand
A sub-inspector attached to Parksite police on nakabandi duty was seriously injured when a speeding car rammed into him at Kanjurmarg (east) early Saturday. Doctors at Fortis Hospital where sub-inspector Virendra Khawle (56) is being treated said that one of the hands may have to be amputated as the wrist bone up to the shoulder is badly damaged.
