2 hours window for green crackers on Diwali in Gurgaon

The district administration of Gurgaon has announced a ban on the manufacturing and sale of firecrackers, except for 'green' ones that do not contain barium salts, from October 1 to January 31. The ban aims to control air pollution during the winter months when pollution levels are at their peak. The order also specifies limited time windows for bursting firecrackers on Diwali, Christmas, and New Year's Eve. Online sale of firecrackers will also be prohibited. The ban is an extension of the Haryana State Pollution Control Board's (HSPCB) ban on firecrackers, except green ones, from November to January.
