Maharashtra govt committed to ensure development of Marathwada: CM

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has announced a budget allocation of Rs 60,000 crore for development initiatives in Marathwada. He expressed the government's commitment to eliminate underdevelopment in the region and highlighted approved projects worth Rs 45,000 crore. Shinde also defended the "government at your doorstep" initiative, stating that 1.7 crore people have already benefited from it. He unveiled a preventive health check-up scheme for the elderly named after Balasaheb Thackeray and criticized the previous MVA government's failed attempts to rename Aurangabad and Osmanabad. Shinde emphasized the resumption of normal activities and reinstatement of festivals.
