Concretising roads not an emergency: Bombay HC

The Bombay High Court has stayed a ₹1326 crore e-tender issued by the Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for concretising roads in the city. The court also restrained the BMC from issuing any fresh tenders for road strengthening and improvement. Roadway Solutions India Infra Ltd had filed a petition against the termination notice issued to it by the BMC. The fresh revised bids for the concretisation work are at a higher cost per square kilometer than the previous contract.
