RTI data: Six out of 9 OSDs in CMO are pvt individuals

Data obtained under the Right to Information Act reveals that only three of the nine officers on special duty (OSDs) in Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's office are government officials, while the remaining six are private OSDs. The educational qualifications of the OSDs were not provided. The request for information on the monthly salary/income of the OSDs has been transferred to another department. Activist Anil Galgali has called for permanent recruitment instead of temporary recruitment of external candidates and for the government to evaluate the work of all OSDs and make the information public.
