2 die in blast; crackers being made in house, claim police

Two men died in an explosion at a house in Narela, Delhi, allegedly caused by a mixture of potash and sulphur stored for making firecrackers. The victims were identified as Gaurav and his friend Sahil. Gaurav's family claimed they were unaware of the chemicals stored in the house. It is suspected that the potash and sulphur mixture exploded, causing the incident. Gaurav had been selling Diwali items for the past few years to support his family. A case has been registered by the police.
