Man duped of Rs 71k in sextortion racket, 1 held

A 23-year-old student from Rajasthan has been arrested by Mumbai police for extorting money from a 57-year-old man by threatening to send obscene videos to his contacts. The accused, Ansar Khan, allegedly posed as a woman on WhatsApp and convinced the man to send a nude video. The victim later received calls from someone claiming to be from YouTube, demanding money to delete the video. The victim transferred Rs 71,300 before approaching the police. Khan's accomplices are still being sought.

Maha: SSC success rate dips to 4-year low

Appearing for exams based on complete syllabus for the first time since Covid struck, state board students recorded a 93% success rate in the SSC Class 10 results announced Friday.
