The city skyline resembled a glittering fairy land Saturday as people strung colourful bulbs and lanterns from windows and balconies to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights. The occasional burst of aerial fireworks afforded a son et lumiere show that lit up the heavens like shooting stars.

Maha: SSC success rate dips to 4-year low

Appearing for exams based on complete syllabus for the first time since Covid struck, state board students recorded a 93% success rate in the SSC Class 10 results announced Friday.
