GRAP Curbs Eased As Pollution Loosens Grip

The Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR (CAQM) removed restrictions under the Graded Response Action Plan Stage III due to improved AQI. The commission stated that the disruptive nature of Stage III restrictions and the forecast by IMD and IITM did not indicate a return to 'severe' air quality. The resumption of construction work will benefit daily-wage laborers. However, sites and industrial units with closure orders will remain shut. An analyst from the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air highlighted the need to assess the enforcement of GRAP restrictions. The IITM Decision Support System reported the contribution of various sources to Delhi's PM2.5 level.

Maha: SSC success rate dips to 4-year low

Appearing for exams based on complete syllabus for the first time since Covid struck, state board students recorded a 93% success rate in the SSC Class 10 results announced Friday.
